I used to think I was just a regular guy, but I was born white, which now, whether I like it or not, makes me a racist and responsible for slavery.

I am a fiscal and moral conservative, which by today’s standards, makes me a fascist because I plan and support myself.

I went to HS and have held a job and am here not because I earned it but because I was advantaged

I am heterosexual, which according to gay folks, now makes me a homophobic.

I am non-union, which makes me a traitor to the working class and an ally of big business.

I am not a Muslim, which now labels me as an infidel.

I believe in the 2nd Amendment, which now makes me a member of the vast NRA gun lobby.

I am older than 55 and retired, which makes me a useless old man who doesn’t understand Facebook.

I think and I reason, therefore I doubt much that the main stream media tells me, which must make me a reactionary.

I am proud of my heritage and our inclusive American culture, which makes me a xenophobe.

I value my safety and that of my family and I appreciate the police and the legal system, which makes me a right-wing, cop killing extremist.

I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.

I believe that our system guarantees of freedom of effort – not freedom of outcome or subsidies which must make me a a borderline sociopath

I believe in the defense and protection of the homeland for and by all citizens, which now makes me a militant.

I am proud of our flag, what it stands for and the many who died to let it fly so I stand and salute during our National Anthem which takes me back to where I started – I must be a racist

Please help me come to terms with the new me… because I'm just not sure who I am anymore!

Very well stated!! I do think you may have forgotten one though....as you and I go into our retirement we are supposed to graciously give up some of our money we have saved and put aside for our retirement years for those who failed to put anything away. Oh that's right, I almost forgot it isn't our money it is the governments money called "social security" and it is our entitlement money we are getting. Shame on us for expecting to get back what we put into the system!

 

Between the wife and I,we payed into the system for a total of 96 working years.Will we see it all back that we put in,I doubt it.And the younger generation blame us old farts for the problems the SS is having but we know where a lot of the money has gone. Just look for all the IOU notes floating around..

 

Yep I put in 49 yrs myself and the wife another 25 yrs. Ole Slick ***** Clinton convinced congress to roll the soc sec into the general fund to make the fed budget appear to be balanced. With all that extra money in there congress and the libs have been having a hayday with it and spent an extra 20 trillion to boot!! It is hilarious to see Obama saying that he could have won if he had a third term....the libs lost more than 1000 seats in gov't during Obama's 8 yrs and they still don't get it !!

 

Maybe the Canadians will get lucky and the American liberals that flee there will be eaten by bears. Not much nutrition though because they're so full of $h!t.

 

Heck the bears can smell that from a mile away, we won't be lucky enough for that to happen, unfortunately they will keep multiplying!! If there was ever a need for abortion!!
