I need to get together tips on how to do bigger and better wheelies. You know, popping the front end way up and riding it out as long as you want. So, you aggressive ATVers out there, what do you do for a big wheelie? What would someone have to do to go bigger? Thanks, any response is greatly appreciated.

THE EASYIEST WAY I LEARNED WAS TO HAVE IT IN 2ND
GEAR FIND A LITTLE HUMP IN AN OPEN FEILD LEAN BACK
GIVE IT SOME GAS AND FIND YOUR BALANCE POINT JUST PRACTICE IN 2ND TILL YOU GET THE HANG OF IT, THEN GO FROM THERE. DON'T BE AFRAID OF GOING BACK ON YOUR WHEELIE BAR IT WON'T FALL ON YOU! NEXT THING YOU KNOW YOU WILL BE SHIFTING THREW THE GEARS.

try putting your right knee on the seat and your foot in the grab bar so if you go too far back you can put your foot down and catch yourself.

try putting your foot in the grab bar and find a hump or i like a on a hill NOT TO STEEP just a grade and in 2nd gear on works best on my mojave get roling a little bit rev up the engine and dump the cluch I use 2 fingers on the clich and then you can pull it if you need to but you still have a grip on the bars and gust keep trying and you will get better and better then you have to try from 2 wheels (on the side) pop a wheely and then you cool.

Dumping the clutch on a HILL? It should just happen on flatland that way. Well, What about these people flying at like 30, then doing a wheelie on the spot?

well i will tell you again do it right the first time. dont put your foot on the grab bar, if you learn it that way you still have to learn it sitting down. if you learn how to throw your wait
back and give it gas at the same time you do not need to pop the clucth, its hard on the chain/sprockets/bearings/gears/clucth.

when I said hill i mean small incline please be very very carfull I am not that craze i will tell you this the only time i ever fliped my quad was when i hit a ground hog and that was on the mojave the 250r never was fliped and that is the truth and i can ride on 2 wheels and a wheely's good. don't be stupid because you can get hurt very bad. and dont go fast I never went past 3rd and i was only in low RPM'S i read in a nother post about wheelying a 250r and one person said that he can ride ony through all the gears on a 300ex that is dangrous.

Get a 12 pack of your favorite brew... Just joke(don't do that until after riding some great wheelies, and after drink don't ride any more that day). Anyway a bike like the Mojave is an ideal wheeling machine (200X and 350X was the best). Start of in first get the front up and shift to second and keep using the rear brake & thottle to keep her up and ride out the balance point. Good luck.

Cool, for the last couple of days, I've been doing decent moving wheelies. This is when you're already moving pretty good and do one on the spot. The pic in my signature is from just Sunday. What's the safest way to learn how to "bicycle" your quad? Up on two side wheels.
