Just bought a SP500 .H.O. and was curious to know the most useful items to carry in toolbox for those weekend rides...backcountry here in the Kootenays is rather rugged!

For those long weekend rides I like to bring enough extra parts to build another quad....that way if ANYTHING goes wrong you got the spare part[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Good post Specta. Here's my list for kicking around in the Nevada desert. All but a very few items (radio, canteen, water keg, belt revolver) fit in a Cabelas rack bag mounted on the rear rack and YES, it has saved our bacon on a couple of occasions:
