we got optimum online, fastest internet you can get for your home. it was 30$ a month for 12months, now thats over its 44.95 a month. i have Optimum Online, Optimum Voice (29.95 UNLIMINTED everywhere) And Optimum Digital Cable service. its all on one bill for 160$

Right now, I am very satisfied with Charter[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] However, won't be able to keep it after the move. Would like to keep dsl[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] probably go with local cable company or sbc. Need to do a little research on cost, etc.

 

Just upgraded the SBC DSL, to the top level they have. Supposedly 3MPS, but you never will get what they promise. But the cost is 24.99 a month. Takes about 1 1/2 seconds longer to load a page than the cable connection, but the 15 bucks a month savings goes to the beer fund.

 

I just upgraded to this SBC plan myself. its supposed to take effect in a couple days. I had no complaints with my old SBC plan, but they just offered me the upgrade and the $15.00 cheaper a month deal.

 

I am looking at sbc also. Only thing I didn't see on their web site was the price after the special is gone. So, seeing you two signed up. What's the cost after 1 year?

 

My origional special was $39.99 a month. They offered up the new rate. Not sure what I thought my new rate was going to be. But now it doesnt matter. The big catch seems to be in leaving the plan early, thats a $200.00 fine.

 

I was originally at 39.99, then they offered new service at 29.99. I called and asked what a current, paying on time customer got. They dropped to 36.99. When it dropped to 26.99 for new service, I called and got it dropped to 29.99. When they offered new service at 19.99, yep, called again and got 26.99. This last new offer I got the top 3mps, had 1.5mps, for 24.99. At first when they came out with the cheaper offers, I was pissed. Hey, I pay on time every month, I have to worth something to them. Called them up, and I guess I was. Used the same thing for a new PVR from Dish Network. Told them I have been a paying customer for 3 years. Direct TV and Comcast (gag) had new offers that were better than I have now. Took two call transfers, but got something they wanted 300 dollars down to zero. Going to try the same approach with the wife next week. "You know we've been married 13 years, and there was a cute 25 year old at the grocery store today..." wow.. 2855... what do you have DSL? thats SSSLLLOOWWW i got 9122.. the slowest i got was from like 5-9pm it goes down to 6-7000
