Its not really a question of "was" Saddam making WMDs, I believe its more of a question of what types was he making (nuke, bio, gas, etc), and who did he give them too. Just weeks prior to the war Saddam yet again started to back pedal and say that he was destroying his WMDs and even offered up evidence that he was, but this was to little to late.....his last minute stall tactic did not work with Bush. The reality is that WMDs may not have been made in the quanity that the intelligence community believed but they were still being made none the less. Some of the WMDs were destroyed, but the majority of them were probably smuggled out of the country into Iran and Syria before the war started.....and some may yet still be hidden in Iraq, only time will tell.

My question to our liberal viewing public is this scenario, Lets say Saddam had gone unchecked and developed more WMDs but instead of stockpiling them he decides he will sale some to a terrorist group ( al queda, hamas, etc.) and they use said weapon against the USA.....what would be your reaction. I know what your reaction would be, it would be outrage.....you would want to know why our Government did not do something about this, how come we did not stop them from getting those weapons. A pre-emptive strike is always better than a defensive counterstrike, better to fight them on their soil then ours.

There is no telling what may have happened if Saddam had gone unchecked for the past 1 1/2 years, maybe nothing or maybe one of his WMD would have found its mark on our soil, for me thats something not to gamble with.

To tell you the truth I don't like Bush or Kerry.... Neither one is fit to lead this Country....They both stink!!!! Draft dodging,Drunk driving,and dereliction of duty..... These are not good qualities... And neither is leaving your men in battle and then comimg home and getting in bed with Hanoi Jane!!!! Not to mention Kerrys other ***** bag qualities, oh and how about that wife of his? Oh yeah she's a real piece of work.... This is the first time in my life I will be voteing Libertarian..... enForcer better think twice before you vote a third party. All that is would be is a vote for Kerry. Look what the democraps have done to Illinois. Hell I grew up in Will County. How many places have you got where you can shoot or go hunting or for that matter ride your ATV?? Illinois is run by the Cook County Democraps. If you like the outdoors Illinois might not be the worst state but it is in the top 10%. Look when they closed the Arsenal in Joliet 33 sq miles. How much can you hunt their how many trails they got for you to ride on?? No doubt the Democraps have taken Illinois down the tubes just like they have the rest of the country

Cheapass, my question to you is how many second chances does Saddam get......I guess quite a few with the UN as their had been like 18 UN resolutions to stop Saddam and warm him to stop, Since you have all the answers tell me this......How many times do we shake our finger at Saddam before we take action.....

 

What about North Korea? We Have been doing quite a bit of finger shaken at them as well..... Are they next? They kicked the UN out a long time ago..... The US did nothing..... They defy the UN on a daily basis....
