Neighbor's Bombardier Outlander STOLEN.....almost
#1
New guy in my neighborhood got a new outlander, left it under his deck...(two floors high) and someone came in a truck, tried to lift it into the truck, BUT he had a snowplow on the front, so It didnt go into the truck. The guys left it in the middle of the road and some neighbors took it into their garage.
He has it back, and he had to make space in the shed I know about this, because I was on the lakes, and he stopped me and asked if I knew anything about his quad being stolen or if I had seen it, and I told him I would report it if i did see it.
Later that day, he stops me again, and told me how someone had it and returned it. Well, that guy was L-U-C-K-Y...LUCKY!!! There have been a bunch of snowmobiles stolen on his street before that.
So, this was a story to show how important it is to have a snowplow on your quad
This turned out to be a happy story.....if only every one was.

I don't know how some people can leave their quads out all the time. One of the neighbors leaves his quad out all the time. Sooner or later, he might be sorry.

You should tell him to put it in somewhere so nothin happens.

Some of the neighbors are really nosey so they see everything. Kinda good and bad. Everyone knows everyone so it's easy to tell who shouldn't be doing what.
I still wouldn't leave my quad out.

im one of the people who leaves their quad out all the time... it hasnt see shelter in 7 months now, even in the winter. as for being stolen... our neighborhood is real small, we have a cop that lives down the road, that and if anyone goes within 100 ft of our house, the 3 dogs let us know. i have yet to be able to sneak into my own home without the dogs barking. main reason i leave it out is just cuz our area has a crime rate of NOTHING...i think there was one motorcycle stolen about 15 yrs ago...
