Honda Big red oil
My buddy bought my honda big red. He asked me what to do and one of his questions was "What kind of oil" i told him GTX 10-40 drive hard cause that is what honda tolk us to run in it. They also said make sure it ISNT! energy conservitive. So that is basicly what i told my buddy. Well today he went to go buy oil and he brought home quaker state 10-40 high performance. now i no honda doesnt recomend that. Every thing i told him when he bought it i think slipped right out of his head cause he hasnt listened to well to what is said. Im only 15. But my dad has owned honda since the dealers would let him buy stuff there. Do you reccomend this oil cause I DONT!

Pick an oil that is Motorcycle Specific, and API SG/JASO MA. Don't use car oils, and absolutely never use energy conserving car oils.

My personal preference is an Ester Synthetic oil, like Maxima Extra. http://www.maximausa.com/
The synthetics have huge advantages (price isn't one of them!) over petroleum oils, and the ester synthetics have advantages over the other types of synthetics. http://www.maximausa.com/technical/l...beNews2002.pdf
Quaker State is a petroleum oil, so I would not use it, even in my truck. My choice for my truck is Redline, again an Ester Synthetic. http://www.redlineoil.com/
