I saw a guy riding an atv spraying weed killer along a canal and starting thinking... what jobs are out there that require you to ride an atv?

With the amount of implements for ATVs now, there are a lot of things you can do like mowing, plowing, spraying, etc... I've seen a lot of power line workers riding them.

aound here theres starting to be some quad cops but most of them are on sleds in the winter than boats in the summer, nice life.

One of my good friends works for AIR LIQUIDE gas company in their pipeline division and he uses several ATV's and UTV's each week checking the pipelines. They just purchased 10 Polaris Rangers XP's and added mudlite tires and a 9000# winch to each. As well they also purchased a new Polaris 6x6 ranger with tracks for the swampy areas. They also used Polaris Sportsman 500efi for their regular checks of the pipelines. Talk about an awesome job. His area is from Houston, Texas to New Orleans, Louisiana.

Many farmers are using ATVs in their day to day operations. It's getting to be where seeing cattle being moved with horses is way less common than seeing ATVs being used. Checking fences, crops, irrigation and such are natural jobs for an ATV. Less expensive and easier to maintain than a horse and I have yet to have an ATV try to bite or kick me.
