Full Synthetic Yamalube...with Ester
Was at the dealer yesterday, and they have full synth Yamalube. It is probably mostly PAO (not group III I hope), and nice that it is fortified with ester.....
I have always been a big proponent of ester synthetic oils!

Honda has a new full synthetic as well.
There are three different types of synthetic oil, and they are each very very different. Trouble with these "branded" oils, is that it is very hard to find out any information about their chemistry and additive packages!
Also, with the advent of catalytic converters on street bikes, there a tendency for manufacturers to decrease the additive package, so that is another unknown variable......
I recently switched to (ester synthetic) RedLine MC oil, and I think I am seeing an increase in horsepower (seat of the pants evaluation)! It contains friction modifiers (proprietary to RedLine), yet it will not make your clutch slip.
