It kills me what some people think their junk is worth. For $500 I expect a running quad. It might smoke more than a steam locomotive but it should run. I bought a Yamaha Timberwolf once that fit that decription. It had no brakes either. But it started(with starting fluid) and ran for $500. The $800 Bayou was the worst of all. The Bayou is one of the cheapest adult-sized quads you can find used now. $800 is almost too much for one in good shape, at least one of the older 220cc ones. These "parts quads" have basically no value. Unless its something really rare and unique like a 250r or quadzilla, its not even worth your gas money to go pick it up if its free. The only exception might be if you have the same quad and might need something off the junk one but the hassle usually isn't worth it. So many places you can order parts off the internet without even having to leave home now. New parts too, not rusted out junk either.
