I have saw many A/C machines in strickly work situations but not many on the trails either. When I looked at them, they appeared to be more urility oriented than others, but was impressed with the build quality.

Smart business move for both !! Textron can repair their consumer issues and Cabelas can get ride of the foriegn crap they were trying to sell. Both companies need to show consumers that they can back up there products with warranty service and quality products. Looking forward in seeing the new lineup!

My '97 Sportsman 500 was huge and very heavy (and had the biggest engine at the time?). Sure it was wider than any old 3-wheeler was but it had IRS with 9.5" rear suspension travel IIRC. When Polaris decided to give the 500 H.O. front suspension 1.5" more travel than before, they also made it 2" wider. Now Polaris claims the RZR XP Turbo S has 25" usable travel front and rear. Comparing a 3-wheeler to a side by side is an apples and oranges kind of comparison. If they made that one 37" wide like the US90 it would be harder to ride than a unicycle, but I'd love to see someone try it. There's always a trade off and most people aren't willing to do without better suspension than they had "in the old days".

So, I have beach access to Pawtuckaway Lake here in Nottingham, NH. Neighbor told me there was going to be ice golf on Saturday. So, I threw the passenger seat on my quad so Mrs. Moose could ride down to the lake with me. Was fun watching people golf when it was 20 degrees out and on snow and ice. Was a guy there with the 3 cylinder Can-Am Maverick with deep lug mud tires. He lined it up with the group of guys he was with and pinned the throttle. It looked like someone used 2 snowblowers to cover the guys. Thing had to be 10 ft. long and at least, 5 ft. wide.
