Interesting looking machine. I think Polaris makes a ATV for the government too.

I tried to research the specs on this Prowler. I read it uses a Rotax 976cc engine, has 10" of suspension travel, and will tow 1500 pounds. These specs are close to my Can Am Outlander.

If the states would open more ride areas the sales would also increase. If you look closely at states like West Virginia with there Hatfield McCoy trail system and the revenue it brings to the state it does make money for the state. But with Dumbo's like our governor in Ohio that refuses to do anything like that except complain that the state doesn't have enough money to spend, just passes by on opportunities like this.

 

At least your governor isn't a criminal like in Illinois. At least we do have several ride parks that are relatively near to me. There are 4 that are all less than 100 miles from me. One in Missouri that I have yet to visit that is a little farther away and a couple in Southern Indiana a similar distance away.

 

Nice building headquarters for Kawasaki. They used to have a plant in Nebraska, and I think they have a big plant in southern Missouri. Remember the Kawasaki 500 3 cylinder two stroke of the early 70s. That bike established Kawaski as a major manufacturer in this country seems to me.

I was communicating with a fellow ATV enthusiasts from the Black Hills area of South Dakota. He is installing street legal equipment on his new to him ATV and will get a license plate for his machine. His riding opportunities are now many times greater than mine.

Licensing laws for ATVs and UTVs on secondary roads would greatly expand our hobby. And it would take pressure off of the limited off road trails we have. There are so many gravel county roads and dirt forest service roads here in Colorado that are barely navigable with a modern SUV. Licensed dirt bikes can ride them, same with Jeeps. But not a ATV. These roads are safer than some of the rugged ATV trails (old mule trails) and offer plenty of exploring opportunity.
