The sands outside of Reno, Nevada are being parted as we speak to make way for a major distribution hub for Polaris:

This unassuming Kawasaki 3-wheeler came in a special edition trim package that can be credited with originating many of the features we now consider standard on our ATVs:

I wonder who was first making the 3 wheeler into a "useful" vehicle. I think of the Honda being first with their "Big Red" vehicles for the farm and ranch. I didn't realize Kawasaki was doing the same type of thing. Hunting editions have followed with all manufacturers ever since.

Designed to target the hunting sect...

A sect is a subgroup of a religious, political, or philosophical belief system, usually an offshoot of a larger group. Especially a religious body regarded as extreme or heretical.

Typo?

We are often asked here how the industry is doing collectively and if BRP's (Can-Am) second quarter figures are any indicator, the North American market is alive and well:

Hi Frank- in this case just the abbreviated version (section) though some of the hunters we know may qualify for membership in the definition you supplied as well :\

I thought you meant "the hunting sector", or "hunters" as I like to call them.

I didn't realize BRP was a billion+ dollar a year business. Good for them.

Polaris has just added a major manufacturer to their in-house production group:

Interesting. Being from Minnesota and knowing Polaris as well as WSI, I think Polaris made a wise investment. I'm glad to hear they plan on leaving WSI on their own. I'm sure with time there could be a significant increase in Polaris jobs in the WSI shop. I wish both companies well in their new "marriage".

It sounds good to me, but it seems like WSI would be worth more than $23.9 million if they're making all those different kinds of things. Maybe they just do a little of this and a little of that.
