Most drive-belts for our ATVs and UTVs come with a one-year warranty. One major manufacturer feels like that isn't anywhere near enough:

I knew Polaris had a Limited Lifetime Warranty on belts for a while, but didn't know you had to have the recommended maintenance done at an Authorized Polaris Dealer. That would eliminate a lot of people right off the bat. I knew the warranty didn’t cover normal wear, or anything due to operator error, and they said a lot of it was operator error, like using high when it should have been in low. If Yamaha doesn't have similar exclusions to their 10-year belt warranty they really are in a league all their own.

Certain manufactures don't only sell us ATVs and SxSs, they fight to keep riding areas open and grant troops well-needed resources on the front line maintaining our trials. One major company has been doing this for a solid decade now:

Polaris started the T.R.A.I.L.S. Grant Program 2 years before Yamaha started this. And the Polaris Foundation gave almost as much in financial and product donations last year alone as Yamaha did with the Outdoor Access Initiative in 10 years. It's not like Yamaha is the only one doing something to help us out.

It is great to read about ATV manufacturers supporting trails in many different ways. David

Each year the American International Motorcycle Expo comes to town as a physical representation of what's hot in the industry. This year, by their own admission, ATVs & SxSs are all the rage:

Miami PD got a new set of wheels this week. Three of them to be exact:

That one of a kind police motorcycle/car, whatever, looks sharp but those rims wouldn't last a day anyplace with a lot of potholes.

Don't think the Polaris Slingshot will do to well in hurricane situations.
