Isn't there a trail by Newberry? I seem to remember there being a motorcycle trail there. My dad's family was from just east of Luce County in Chippewa County.

Furnace fired right up, so quiet, and clean heat!! Fit right in that little side window like a glove....I was a little concerned about that, to the point of thinking of possibly having to cut the glass track apart to remove glass, but not a problem! My neighbor with his Can-am came by last night, and has invited us to join them all season, he can go often with plenty of vaca days saved up! I've been taking him with my kids, since they were 8 ys old, trekking up north lol

I would rather own this machine, than any other, but the expense is double that of mine! and I wouldn't trust a used older quad. From what I've read they are prone to mech. prob.! He can do a wheelie all the way down the street, I'm so jealous! lol

 

Fire up your engines – the Oakland County ORV Park got its official green light last night as the Oakland County Board of Commissioners voted to approve a 20-year operating agreement between Oakland County Parks and Recreation and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. It's The closest orv park here in se Mi.now! Not too big, but good enough to get us out the house, without having to drive way up north, for one day play around ride, meeting others!

The Mounds is a 25 minute drive from my house. That new park is farther away, and in a different county, but I could probably get there in 20 minutes. I could hop on I-75 then take Dixie Hwy right to it. I wonder how much it will cost to get in. Have you heard anything about it?

The 2018 Michigan ORV stickers expired Sunday. It's time to get the 2019 stickers. The new ones will be a different color so anyone can tell at a glance if you have last year's.
