As most of you know, homeowners insurance mostly doesnt cover stolen quads....and it is impossible to get a policy to cover the value of our 15000$ quads....so what do you do if it gets stolen? You do this, if you call the police, tell them you had a ton of quad parts in your garage or whatever....dont tell them that it was assembled.....get it? Insurance carriers can deny coverage on quads, but not quad parts....they have to cover them like they were a piece of furniture or what not....trust me, it works!

I had a quad stolen once and my Homeowners DID cover the loss to full replacement value. My agent told me it was covered if the unit was used for work at the residence( which mine was ) So, if you mow, plow snow or haul anything related to home maintainence you should be covered.
Incidently mine was covered by State Farm which I greatly recomend.
You can also purchase "riders" that cover anything extraordinary.

my homeowners covered mine too. but only cuz our agent said we used it to maintain the property. it was kind of a half truth but it wasn't our idea. anyways that worked too.

If you have a utulitty quad it should be covered buy your homeoners insurance. If you have a sport or race quad it is not covered by you homeoners insurance. I found this out the hard way this summer.

I like my insurance people about as much as I like the morons that ripped off my 350X They are both about as nice as Osama...

Almost 4 years later I'm still really P*&% Off about it and I could go on & on &...

Get big locks and use them, I wanted to put an electric cord on my garage door & fry the next creep to touch it! But now I'm out in the country with a lot less scumbags around.

If this sounds bitter, I AM! NOBODY GIVES A CRAP ABOUT STOLEN ATVS! Mine was custom painted with a rainbow saying Honda on the tank, Carlyle Strykers, 8" 200X rims, & axle extenders.

Its not fraud if you dont lie......When you file the claims report, you tell the truth, you had a ton of parts in your garage get stolen...you are not making a false statement....besides, this should be covered under your policy, only the snakes in the rat business twist your policies to a point where nearly nothing is covered.....They are the crooks, if you think differently, I think you have never dealt with these snakes....and they are snakes.

It IS a false statement if you omit the fact that all these "parts" were assembled into to a functioning machine!
I have had plenty of experience dealing with these "snakes" too, and do not like dealing with them either. I am just saying that I couldn't, in good conscience, "enhance" the truth of the matter.
