I have a 95 Dodge V-10.

7mpg's empty
7mpg's loaded

If youwant fuel mileage go wtih the deisel but realize that it costs you about 3500+ to get a deisel in just about any truck new. That will buy alot of gas.

2003 F150 5.4 engine and 3.73 gears.

I get about 15 MPG or so on highway running 85 MPH on average and 8 to 9 MPG towing a 21' travel trailer with quad and gas in the bed of the truck running at 70 to 75 MPH on average.

The 2500 mile round trip to Glamis cost me about $450 or more in gas alone - the wife flipped when she saw the credit card bill just for the gas.
