Default Stock Pipe Mods

hey its me again...i got a fat dent in the side of my stock exhaust pipe so i brought it in and they gave me a new stock one for free cuz i bought my raptor there, well when i got it it was un-assembled and i was just wondering that when i put it onto my raptor do i have to insert the little tubular screen insert that goes into the end? im not sure if it would give me any power...im thinking it was probably tuned for the correct amount of backpressure and all into the engine but if it does help me out i will leave it out
thanks yall

It is probably some sort of spark arrester, sound defuser, or something like that. It will probably just make it a little louder then a normal bike. I am not sure on the power gains on it though so I can't really help you there.

I took the spark arrestor out of my Z250 and it made a major difference in both sound and performance. Before it had a little stumble at first hit on throttle and it is so smoth now. Mine was like a lttle turd that stuck in the end cap of my stock exhaust not just a screen though...
