FMF Fatty meets Lt 250R
Hey i just put a fatty on my Lt 250R and it's freaking loud, and when i installed it the pipe comes really close to touching the cylinder. it has a really loud mattalic ping to it, is that right? If thats the way it is i'm not sure that the little bit of power increase is worth the added noise. Let me know what u think.

Yea dude i was really suprised when i installed it, the clearances all around the pipe are way to close, mine is like resting on the head and ultra close to the frame in the front and the back, i wish they would have planned for a little more room than that...I was not impressed...

Thats the problem with FMF ther made for the masses not the conisuer. Mine has a PSI and clears the head but seems to rub on the brake line holder near the left a-arm. But its way faster than stock. Reeds will make a big difference especially if your running old or stock ones that may be worn or cracked. You can also clean up the reed cage when you have it out with some fine grit paper and smooth out any cast marks. Or go with the V_ FORCE its worth the money$$$$$ IMO.

I've bought FMF pipes before, okay quality and fit. And one other brand, didn't fit, sent it back. Had a DG, fit okay, not good power.
Put a Duncan Racing Paul Turner midrange pipe & silencer on my LT last summer. OUTSTANDING quality and finish, and huuuuuge power all through the rpm range, I can ride wheelies forever and it takes my big *** all the way up the face of Devil's Dune. More money and waaaay worth it!!
