vito's +4 stroker
#1
i am thinking about buying the +4 stroker from vito's?i need to know if they are reliable and if the performance gain is worth the money or should i go with the stock vito's crank and save my $250 for something else

You might need other mods with the stroker I think. You might need to machine the case, add a spacer or change things around on the top end, depending on the design. Some stroker's need to have the rist pin re-located on the piston.. Im not sure of the vitos design..
Any stroker will add more HP because it increases the crankcase volume to allow for a bigger charge to enter the chamber..Also with increased compression comes more torque.

I would, combine that with milling the head and you will get more torque. PLUS...it is alot better on your top end. Because of the longer rod, the angle at which the rod must go is less..So this means that when the piston reaches TDC, the angle that the rod is at is less so it can take take more stress..
Plus the added crankcase volume..
