Default Spark Aresster

i was riding on sunday and talking to a guy who took his spark aresster out. he said he has had it out for 2 years and never had a problem. has anyone every had a problem with this. i dont want to have to much back pressure on the bike. also i just got the high flow lid, would having more air help with the back pressure? thanks

taking the spark arrestor off would decrease back pressure. you normally will not have a problem with it gone. the only time you would need it is if you rode in a united states forestry park.
