Default Suzuki lt185 alt185

I read on this forum that a lot of Suzuki top end parts are interchangeable from other models, like cam, head and maybe cylinder. I have a 91 4x4 250 that I took the cam off to compare. Visualy, it look very the same as my stock 185 cam except maybe some minor wear. I wonder if I could get any gain of power for that? I would also like to have your opinion on the best head cam valve setup for my 185.

Another thing I would like to know. My alt 185´s engine is currently in piece on my workbench. It needed transmission job and I discovered that the small gear shaft is twisted. Wonder how it happen, I bought it like that. As I have my engine all open, I wonder if I could manage to make it full manual clutch? I don't have a clutch for it yet, I may take the 250´s clutch if it would fit? I don't really know. Btw if you guys would have an engine laying around I could be interested. Thanks!!

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I know this is an old thread, but did you have any luck finding answers to your clutch questions?

That was the last post he ever made and he hasn't been back since 11-20-2015, so my guess would be no.
