I have a 97 trail boss. The rear rotor seams to be shifting to one side binding the brakes. Is there a keeper I am missing? There is no groove for a c clip. The end of the shaft the rotor sits on is tapped.

You increase or decrease pressure on the pads by loosening the outer nut and turning the bolt out or in. The foot pedal would rise or fall as you adjusted it.
