i just aquired a fairly new superwinch 2500 for nothing but it dosen't have the freespooling device on it. can this winch have a freespooling device put on it? thanks - dana

I dont know about the 2500 bit the 2000 s have a black knob on the side that you pull out to freewheel.It can be hard to pull but if you play with it it will release.
