In the feb edition of dirt wheels I know I saw something about it. Plus they had a full out test in one of the winter months editions of dirtwheels. In the full out test the trick snow trax system was on the cover. If I remember right , dirtwheels said it was an excellent setup. The newer ones though are supposedly real easy to swap back in forth with normal tires.

I feel it is alot of money for not to much pleasure. You could get the same effect out of a good stiff tire with screws, and they weigh so much you loose alot of power. Big investment,Small thrill!

It's a matter of displacment. with a snow traxx you get a big wide belt and have the same wieght. that why snowmoblies have belts. i have ridden with aired down paddles in the snow and if you get off the packed trial your toast.

we sometimes get a foot of snow and believe me, paddles or screw tires wont help.

i would love to try the snow-traxx but dont want to pay $2000.00 for a set and then be unhappy!
