Default Just assembled motor, it started, ran, and now won't????

I just reassembled my zilla motor, started it with a new plug, and then it died. I try to start it now all it seems to do is backfire, no starting. Any input it appriciated. And also, when the crank starts to go, does it vibrate like he11? This thing is vibrating and I checked all the dots on the gears and there lined up fine.

get a new plug, check your timing, some times people don't use locktie and they will come loose, make sure that your exhaust valve is opening, you will be able to see it,if the engine mounts are loose, it will vibrate, if that dont work pm me.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Run a compresion check and if it has compresion check your spark and fuel.If no comp pull your carb and reed valve and check your piston it could have broke causing your viberation.

the jetting did not make it vibrate like hell check the flywheel first then check the piston for a crack and are you sure you got the right size for the bore? one size off would give you vibration and then you would lose comp. if not worse

The firing problem is probably electrical. Check to see if you have spark. if you dont go down the line and see what component is failing. If your worried about a loose crank be smart and take the cylinder off. Check the up and down movement on the big end of the rod. You should have almost none. Next check your side to side, you shouldnt have much, but it should wiggle a little. Its always smart not to put a crank to chance!
