Hello everyone. Having a little issue with my "00" Sportsman 500. Went to start it today and nothing happened. Total loss of all electrical systems. No fan. No lights. No nothing. But it would start using the recoil starter. But still nothing electrical while it was running. It will also start by jumping the poles on the solenoid. Im not the greatest at diagnosing electrical problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In front of the battery is a plastic sealed pouch with with a 20 amp thermal circuit breaker. You can test the red lead going in and out to see if the circuit breaker needs to be replaced. Split the pouch if there is no power going through it and check the connections, could be corroded.This sends power to the speedo gauge,etc. If bad you can usually get em at most auto stores. OPT
