2004 Sportsman footwell support

Hello. I have a 2004 Sportsman 700 Vtwin EFI. It was rolled and the right footwell and support were crushed(among other things). I have obtained a new footwell. The support under the footwell is rolled up like the top of a sardine can. Been heating up and bending. Still cant get the holes to line up. With these bikes sitting on a big old uniframe, my question is: am I able to buy just the footwell support bracket and just weld it on the existing frame?? I have searched the internet in vane trying to find anything on this. As always, I greatly appreciate the help. Dan

Support bracket is part of the frame. If you found an old frame you could do some welding, but you may just have to straighten the support the best you can and drill new holes for the foot well. OPT

Thank you Sir. We were heating and bending tonight. It ain't pretty but I think we got it close enough to bolt up. Again, I appreciate the reply.
