Chain came off 2003 Polaris Trailblazer 400

Please help. The chain came off our 2003 Polaris Trailblazer 400 and we cannot figure out how to put back on. Have tried manual instructions to no avail. Any suggestions or links greatly appreciated. Thank you :)

If turning the rear carrier forward and trying to roll the chain on doesn't help, then best to just remove the master link and thread the chain on the sprockets and replace the link. If the chain is worn, has excessive side to side play or stiff links, best to replace with a new 76 link o-ring chain.Any cycle shop sells the 520 chain and can cut it for you. Chain slack should be around 1/2" between both sprockets. If the manual still says to compress the rear end and adjust the chain, don't pay any attention to that as it's wrong! You'll end up with too much chain slack.Just roll the rear housing forward until you have the correct amount of slack and then tighten the housing pinch bolts. If you install a new chain, recheck slack after riding awhile as you'll probably have to adjust it again after allowing for some chain stretch.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

Should be a hole in the sprocket to install a pin punch that aligns with a hole in the carrier housing. That is after you loosen the pinch bolts and loosen the brake caliper mount. Once inserted the roll pin, roll the atv backwards to loosen the housing so the chain can be installed, forward to tighten. Just loosen far enough back to reinstall it and replace the master link. Don't lose the o-rings.Worst case is to use a big pipe wrench around the housing and turn it,but be careful on scoring up the housing.Plus see if this helps.
Plus this one is similar to your machine.
