How to burp?...

I just did a radiator relocation on my 2000 Polaris Xpedition 425 and I can not for the life of me find the air bleed screw on it. Can anyone help I'd greatly appreciate it.

There isn't one.. Leave the radiator cap off, squeeze the hoses and let the fan cycle on and off several times to remove any trapped air pockets. Top off coolant level as it drops. You may have to do this several times especially if you raised the radiator.Only ones that had bleed screws that I remember were on the Ranger 700/800s that had long hose runs.Had a small bleed screw on the thermostat housing.

Hmm good to know also my fan is hard wired so it constantly runs so should I just let it run for 20-25 minutes?

Not sure with a relocation , but normally you slowly fill at the rad cap fill hole while the motor is idling while at the same time you shake the ATV side to side. It should do a burp out the rad hole.

You know if you got it if both the bottom and top rad hoses are both warm and hard. If it has a air lock the bottom rad hose will be cool and soft and only the top hose will be hard and warm.

Well as of now my fill neck is lower than the radiator and it's gotta go through about 1 and a half foot of hose to hit the radiator so I'm not sure if that's the problem cause right now it keeps bubbling out the cap when it's off

Think I'd try raising the fill neck. May be too hard to bleed it if the neck is too low.

That's what I'm thinking cause all of the radiator relocation kits ive seen done where the filler isn't dire on the radiator the moved the neck up higher

Are you sure your battery will hold up with the fan on constantly?
