Wiring accessories

I am looking for the best point to connect a switch for an LED light bar so that it is past the ignition. I have it wired to the terminal block under the hood now but it is always hot. Also going to add USB port and want both to disconnect when the ignition is off. 2015 Ranger 570.

Just hook the positive lead to a wire or terminal that is hot only with the ignition on. Usually this is a red/white wire on Polaris machines.Just use your test light or meter.

Is it safe to use a jumper to the 4-wheel drive switch? The lights are controlled by a switch directly next to that switch.

If you look into the harness loom you will probably find an auxiliary wire that's hot with the key on that's not used. It'd be better if you tied into something like that for the power if possible rather tying into other components wiring. Grounds can either be to the frame or tie into a group of browns. Doesn't really matter on that.
