Disconnect battery for 15 minutes and see if the code disappears! Sometimes you can have false codes, loss of sync, etc! Plus the crank sensor on the 700 is internal if I remember correctly, the 500 crank sensor came out of the side of the recoil housing and had a connector under the air box. OPT

Well i have had enough of the crap with this quad and broke down and took it to the Polaris dealer. The straw that broke the camels back is my friend has a 800 06 efi and we both had them in the same garage on a -10 morning...he touched the key and it fired right up. Mine on the other hand FAILED. I will report what is found to help out other people in the same boat.

The crank sensor is external on a 700. We put it on the digital wrench and the crank sensor came up as bad. It was replaced and the atv has been starting fantastic for the last 3 mornings. Man i'm glad to have this atv starting correctly...it is awesome to walk up... hit the key and it is running!!!!
