Crank case

YEP! best to have the bearings on the crank and in the freezer, have two blocks of wood under the left case half, heat the bearing area with a propane torch for about 5 minutes or so,place the crank immediately into the left case half and the bearings should just slip down flush.Let it cool down a little and use Three Bond 1194 or Yama Bond liberally around the left case. Have some thick gloves and heat the right side case half around the bearing area. Install the right side case and tighten the bolts to about 12 foot pounds.. IF the crank is a little hard to turn, just lightly tap each side of the crank with a dead blow hammer and then should spin freely. Then after the case has cooled a little, grease the inside of the seal lips and install the crank seals.
