Tps is just for the correct position at a certain voltage,really no different than the other tps sensors other than this one has a pig tail. Same thin wiring leading from it to the main harness as all the others. The tmap just senses temp/air pressure,sends it to the ecu(ecm) for correct fuel mixture to injectors. This is the same sensor that's used on the 500 efi machines and the same crappy thin wiring also. Could be a sensor problem,but we had wiring problem on the 2010 and 2011 models when I retired. Don't know if Polaris has learned anything since then?
