Default Looking for assistance. PLEASE HELP!

I just traded for a 1993 polaris trailboss 350 4x4. It has a small gas leak around the fuel, on, and off switch. What is the best way to fix this? It appeared to hAve had an extended switch but doesn't now.

Als o there is a tank on the left side of the 4 wheeler (looks like it could be a coolant overflow for radiator) what is this and does it have to be connected? Rigjt now there is no hose attached to the bottom of it, but there is a place you could attach the hose at the bottom of it. It say MIN and MAX on the side of it. I'm just wanting to make sure I can run the 4 wheeler without it hooked up. Please guys any input helps!!

The whole assembly including fuel valve, spring, extended arm and lever are available as aftermarket items now on ebay. Cheaper than just the oem fuel valve itself.93 09 Polaris Scrambler Sportsman Magnum Petcock Fuel Shutoff Valve 7051006 | eBay These older 2 strokes used the air duct with a coolant bottle formed into it. They always cracked either at the bottle or broke off from the duct tube. Best to just get a separate one from a Sportsman 500 and mount it on the frame. Plenty of them on ebay to choose from.sportsman 500 coolant tank | eBay

Thank you so much, is that a pretty simple fix (the fuel valve)?
I ordered the one you gave me a link too, so I hope it works lol

I found the hose that ran down form the radiator, it had been singed or something of that sort so it's not usable. Would I be okay driving the 4 wheeler without that hose attached? I mean the previous owner apperently had been but I want your opinion on it.

Fuel valve is a simple two screws out,new fuel valve in. Best to siphon or drain out the gas first unless you like playing in it. NO don't just drive around with the hose loose.Geta new clear hose from any auto supply. It's the recovery hose from the radiator and needs the bottle in place!

Top off the radiator, then fill the bottle with coolant to the full mark.

Hellooks polaris tech, I ordered an aftermarket ignition switch for my 93 polaris trailboss 350 and I I can't figure out how to wire it. The old ignition switch had a brown ,black, red, and red/white

The new one had brown, black, red, and black/white

I hooked it up and it isn't starting. I don't remember where I pulled the original wires from. Any help you can give?

I downloaded a service manual and got a picture that says brown top left, black one below it, red on bottom right, and red\white above it but this all doesn't make sense to me
