Default Throttle and choke cable lubrication 2001 Polaris Sportsman 500 We are going through

Throttle and choke cable lubrication 2001 Polaris Sportsman 500

We are going through the service manual doing maintenance on this thing for the first time.

It says to lubricate the throttle and choke.

It has no further info on lubrication points or what you should use for a lubricant.

Where are the lubrication points?

What should I use for lubricant?

A light synthetic oil? A dry graphite based lube?

Also - I have a few parts in my cart at this site. I tried calling the number and got no answer. I also used the contact us page and received no response.

What's the deal there?

Thanks

Graphite, spray silicone, etc. They still have the old cable oilers that do a good job on most cables also.Probably pretty busy, but they should have at least have a answering service.Try a little later on.

Motion Pro has a $10 cable luber and a $20 cable luber. There are other brands too and if you look on YouTube there are videos of how to lube your cable without a cable luber.
