I got a 2001 2x4 scrammy and I have no oil in the tranny? What do I put in it and where thanks, and my air box lid is pushed up on one in and makes it not fit correctly could that make it backfire only when half throttle or in reverse doesn't do this at all in forward

 

If you have the Scrambler 400,there's a yellow dipstick that you check oil level and it's also where you add oil. Holds around 16-18 pounces or so of Polaris AGL,Amsoil gear case oil or oil suitable for chain driven gear cases. IF you have the 500 Scrambler,there's a 9/16" plug close to the front sprocket where you add oil to. It's full when fluid reaches the bottom of the fill plug threads. Air box needs to be sealed or they can run lean. You have to hold the reverse over ride button down in reverse to get full power.
