Default 1988 Polaris trail boss electric start issue

1988 trail boss Polaris
Replaced the starter and starter gear also the solenoid and ignition switch. Battery is good and starts right away once selenoid posts are jumped.

1.No lights on when key is turned also no headlight.
2. With key on pushing the start button does nothing.
3.Once the solenoid is jumped every works well but the head light pulses like the stator is doing all the work with out battery.

What was done so far
1 replaced starter and starter gear
2 replaced seleniod
3 replaced ignition swith and key
4 replaced battery

Look for a sealed plastic pouch up from the battery. Has a 20 amp resetting circuit breaker that you can get at any auto supply. They can corrode in the pouch and kick off and on or simply short out with age.It supplies power to the dash, lights and starter. Ignition system doesn't have to have the battery to start.
