We have been planning to go ATVing this weekend but found last night that the steering bushing just under the handlebars is broken. The dealer does not have part 5433415 in stock. Can we make something out of rubber to hold the steering stem in place. Is there another part that would fit from another atv? The dealer said our 2x4 model takes a different part than a 4x4 would. It is a 2001 Scrambler 2x5 500.

 

Not sure if the Trail Blazer uses the same one or not. Won't help much now, but the best thing to do is to get an aluminum after market replacement.

Sportsman 500 HO uses the same part numbers.
