Default Shift lever sticking

I'm back again... 2000 Xpedition 425. I did a little trail riding over the weekend and noticed the shift lever would stick down when down shifting on occasion. Not sure where to start on this one.

Could be the cover bushing causing the shaft to stick or could be either the main return spring(30) or one of the shift springs(34) may be loose or damaged.Wouldn't think it would be shift cam related(5)on the second break down pic,but make sure the bolt is tight.
