2000 xplorer 2 stroke engine cutting out and in
Hi All...
Thanks for reading my post and any help would be greatly appreciated as I am at wits end with this quad. She starts up perfectly... runs like there's no tomorrow.. then out of nowhere she loses 90 percent of power sputters, backfires, barely idles. Then if i just wait and let her idle for a while its like someone flipped a switch. You can just hear her smooth out.. Then full power is back until 5 minutes of riding then back to the loss of power. any suggestions are welcome
thanks!!

Check that you have good fuel flow to the carb and that tank vent and carb vents are open. If that's ok,then compression check next. If less than 100 psi that could be the problem. If it has more than that, pull the black wire from the reverse limiter module where it connects. They can short out and limit in forward range. Item #31.
