I just ordered one thanks TLC for the info . Mine's sounding loud so I thought before it craps out I'd just get a new one . Question tho will it have the OEM plug or will I need to cut mine off and attach it to the new fan ? I ordered VA09-AP12/C-54A $98 bucks shipped to Canada .

I had to use the plug from my old fan, your new fan may have a different plug. No big deal its only two wires. Do not mix the wires up ,or you can make the fan a air "Pusher" not a "Puller" if you mix the two wires up.

I received my Spal fan but in order for it to bolt up I had to remove the new motor and fan blade and install it in the old fan housing . No big deal well worth the work to save a couple hundred bucks .

you must of bought the wrong one, it should of been a straight bolt on 20 miniunte swap from the old fan with identical Spal model numbers.

I phoned Spal USA and gave them the Spal number that was on the sticker on my fan . They said they don't sell that model and that I would have to order from ( see below ) as it's exclusive to Polaris . If I ordered the wrong one what number should I of ordered ? The number on my fan was Spal VA55-AP12CWP-54A 12v . Universal Parts, Inc. Parts List

I take it your fan is a 12"? , I think spal never changes there bolt pattern so any of these bottom four 12v pullers 12" fans should of worked. SPAL USA

There straight blades but that should not matter.

My fan is Z4004 Universal Parts, Inc. it's 11 inch . If you look at the Z4004 your see that the 4 mounting tabs are longer ( stick out ) from the fan cover that's what's difference . If I would of bought the Z4004 it would of fit .

I see, I wonder if a 12" Spal (below) would of lined up like the 11" with longer taps. The hole spacing look the same.
