Default 99 scrambler 400 coolant over-flow

99 scrambler 400 coolant over-flow
After riding hard, the over flow cap spits out coolant through the pin hole, then the light came on. Let it cool, radiator coolant level was below the top hose and sensor. Topped off coolant, lights goes out, but after warm up it's still spiting at the over flow.
What does this tell me? Water pump?
Thanks in advance,
Rick

Does the fan come on or work. Rad might be plugged with mud. Think if it was water pump should over heat running hard or not. Could also be head gasket only use stock gasket not cometic or any others. Just a few areas to check. Might want to put this in the polaris section to get more replys. Right know its in the ranger and rzr area.

Thanks I'll repost over there.
Fans does work, had the cap open after it cooled and watch the flow. When I rev it you can see movement, but at idle the flow is interment.
