2011 ranger xp 800 efi will not start
This is my first post here and I did do a search but didn't find what I was looking for. I have been working in a different state for the past year so the polaris has been sitting in my shop not being used. When I got home I charged the battery and put fresh fuel in it and it started right up.Took it for a drive and after about a 1/4 mile it started loosing power and died. Got it back to the shop and it hasn't started since. I have fuel at the fuel rail, I have spark, and when I pulled the injectors I have spray. I can pull a plug and give it a shot of gas and it will run for a second or two. My logic is, even if I don't have the proper fuel pressure it should at least fire and sputter a little bit. Would low fuel pressure cause this? I am stumped. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Fuel pressure would be the first place to start. Must hold 39 psi +/2psi. If it drops too much, plenty of pumps for these on ebay,amazon.https://www.ebay.com/itm/KEMSO-Intan...FZaKZ-&vxp=mtr

Codes may or may not be thrown in situations like this.Look close at the tbap and tps sensor harness and connectors for any bare or soft feeling wires. This was the most common problem on all efi machines. Simple things like a stopped up fuel filter, rare but can happen.Rare also to have injectors clog up,but also possible. The manual can address this along with other trouble shooting guides and checks.Beyond that Digital Wrench would be your best choice as it can save time and frustration along with not throwing any more parts at it.2011 Polaris Ranger XP 800 Service Manual PDF Download
