Default Man I feel OLD

I just read the topic that I'm done with High school and saw all the responces that say what grade they are finishing. I finished school in college in 1978. Add them up boys that is a few years ago. Next time I race any of you young guns I think I should get some handicap start time. I'm glad to see young people taking interest in a good clean outdoor activity that can be shared with any age group. I hope I'm not the only older rider on this forum.

Think we need to add a geriatric forum for the older riders? *chuckle

You're not old yet....when you can't lift a leg over the quad then you might be feelin' a little old.

No your'nt alone, I finish high school in 83. But it's still nice to be able ride, and it feels real good when I beat a teen rider. But on the other side I'll give my son a year or two and he'll be rideing over me He 13 and only getting better.

No you are not the only middle aged one here. I joined the Army in 76, would have graduated in 77. The odd thing is that I am one of the younger ones in our atv club. ??? I havent asked but I would say that some are in their mid 60's and LUVIN it.

I have found that a lot of the younger riders have a hard time keeping up with the old man on the long haul. They are strong out of the gate but after about 10 hours of trails they are shot. I pace myself. As I get older I have slowed down and enjoy the moment as long as I can.
