I have been hearing that the older 250 are faster than the new ones is this true?

Hey fartman,The new 250 are still 2-stroke I checked on polaris's website.

I would say they would be the same power just diff on body styles.

All the trailblazers from the 90's on up are virtually all the same, They've played around with gearing from year to year but other than that I dont believe theres any major change in the power output or speed of the Trailblazers. I think what your talking about is the cyclone model made in 87. Its the same 250cc engine but it came with factory porting,clutch kit , 38mm carb and had a higher reving freer flowing pipe.It put out about 32 horspower stock.

I had a '93 250 Trail Boss and there's no way I would consider that thing fast. I agree with Bubba it's probably the Cyclone you heard about.
