Maybe you were trying to say "I have been owned by a Predator", sounds more realistic to me.

Here we go.......
I went to the cinders this weekend and got a chance to ride a new YFZ. THe bike was still being broken in so I never got on it and have no claim as to how fast it is(I have now doubt that it will be a very fas bike). But are you ready... I was not that impressed. The bike felt a little squirly. I am by no means saying it "sucked" or anything like that, I just wasnt impressed.
Now my friend got a chance to ride my predator for the first time.... He was very impressed. He liked the tourqe of the bike and he REALLY liked the way it handled. He kept saying "I could get used to this", and "I love the way the pro steering works, I wonder why yamaha didnt do something like this" He even seemed to be doing better donuts on the pred after a couple of minutes than he was doing on his bike after riding all day.
Now I have no doubt that the YFZ is an awesome bike for the track, probably better than the pred, but how many of us really race?? I think for "real world" riding I will keep my predator, and keep on loving it!!
Flame away Yamaha poeple!!

Blue Man Group is sweating kinda nervously....I think their make-up might start to smudge.
Ride what you want, dyno quads same day/ same place.

Dynos are a great tool to tune engines and compare mods on the same day, same dyno.
Unlike thermometer temperture readings, comparing dyno hp readings is naive and ignorant.

You guys get all mad and defensive if somone post better results than your own quad....its about ridding and having sh#t loads of fun...not if yami or polaris makes a quad that has 0.2 more hp than the other.....just ride what you got and have fun!!!

By the way... I did think that the "fit and finish" of the YFZ was much better that that of the Predator. The brake and clutch hardware on the handlebars was all metal, not plastic. The frame was less "messy" (better looking welds and no splatter on the frame). The plastics seem to be attached much better. One thing I REALLY liked was the parking brake design, a metal lever which blocks the clutch handle when it is on. Noone will ever accidentaly ride with the parking brake on!! (happened to me twice with friends!!)

heres what i've done to get those numbers.
GYT_R carbon fiber slip on/stock header
airbox lid removed
165 main,42 pilot,cnvq needle 3 clip from top
2 1/2 turns out on fuel screw and retard the exhaust cam one tooth.
and that other dyno your linked to was down at 4,500 ft.those are good numbers for that altituda, i'm only 300' about sea level.
where are you located?if you're anywhere near me and you know of a place with a dyno i'll be happy to try your dyno and see what numbers pop up.then you can put yours pulyerass on there as well and be embarrassed .
i bet you wouldn't come back on the forum and tell everyone the truth would you?
i've been building quad and dirtbike motors for over 15 years.it's what i do for a living. i'm the owner of B&B Racing not that you've ever heard of me but thats irrelevant. i have no reason to lie about the numbers.
and i'm more then willing to prove it to any nay sayers.

the raptor guys are compulsive liars there all so funny. i never seen so many jelous and predator envy on one forum. raptor dudes when you pump those raptor motors up and outrun a stock predator you have nothing to brag about. when us predator owners outrun quads that are bigger in ccs we can brag.
