I was thinking about buying a new Polaris and noticed that there is no more Trail Boss 250. It seems they have combined the TrailBlazer with the TrailBoss. While I like the looks of the Blazer, I plan on doing lots of trail/mud riding and prefer the full coverage fenders of the old Boss. What do yall think of the Blazer. Is it as good a trail quad as the Boss? Better? Worse?

Get the 'blazer and add the fender extensions. From what I have seen, the 'blazer is a good performer on the trails.

It's till around but Polaris put a 325cc motor in it and it's still in the same price range as the other 250 such as the Recon and Beartracker.

Check out the Trail Boss 325. Basicaly the same as the 250, but 4-stroke and concentric drive.
It is light weight, smooth, easy to steer and manuver, and handles well also. Once the brakes break in, they have great stopping power. I like it better than the Trail Bloss 250. The power is smoother, and it won't load up if not ridden fast. |
The 4-stroke Trail Boss is a dog and does not have a LOW Gear. They ruined a good thing. The 2-Stroke engine is much quicker. The 250 trail boss was dicontinued last year.

I do have a 1998 trailboss 250 for sale if interested. It's in new condition, always garaged. Has about 450 miles on it (It has a speedometer). Includes an extended warrenty I think still has 2 years left as well as a maintenance program which pays for oil, lubes, tune-ups etc. I haven't advertised it really as of yet so haven't set a price. Probably a bit under 3K.

Opps, I forgot about the rule here about advertising...sorry...send me private email if interested in above.
