I'm running lean can I just.....
 
I did a pulg test a the pulg was a whiteish color. Could I just adjust the carb Or do I have to rejet.

It all depends on where you did the plug test.1/4,1/2 or full throttle.If it was wide open ,then yes you will have to rejet.If it was 1/2 throttle then you can adjust the needle.

I did it a 1/4 first and it was white so then I did one at full throttle and took out 3 disks from my pipe and it was brownish tan color so I guess its good now. thanks for the help CED.

have you checked your 1/4 throttle again?if its still white adjust your pilot screw to get it right..

where does the pilot jet effect the performance off idle or through half?

the pilot affects idle to 1/4 throttle and the jet is 1/4 throttle to 3/4 throttle and the main jet is mostly WOT

1/2-3/4 can be adjusted by raising or lowering the clip on the needle..

Its very easy just unscrew the top of the carb and pull out the valve and remove the throttle cable and the throttle plate and pull the needle out and pull the clip of and raise or lower it but make sure you dont use it they are a pain to find!
