I have been around here a while, i know what most will say but i want some other opinions on this topic for the following brands:

Yoshi
BigGun
Trinity

I'm looking for good all around power,nothing full race... db levels are not a big issue at this time...

I need a spark arrestor,well at least one i can put on and remove it for different riding areas also quite cores might be needed, basically i'm looking for the best full system with quite cores and spark arrestors i can remove and reinstall for ATV parks etc.... That means the HPD pipe is out of this one,I really don't like white bros...

Am i forgetting any other Full systems for the pred?

When I went to get one for my pred, Doug told me strait forward that here are your options...The pure pipe is the best for the money...and the HPD pipe is just the best......I think the rest are a waste of money, and all that they provide that is better than the pure pipe is the head pipe. Wait until hpd comes out with a non-race pipe.

 

The best dual pipe out there is the lte dual pipes at www.lteracing.com it comes with the air cleaner kit and is 716.00. Pricey but adds 3hp to the rear wheel. also it passes 96db and has spark arresrtors. However thats the best one out there. You can go with the hmf, the fmf or the yoshimura muffer\pipe kit. All of which are excellent the fmf picks up the most power but i dont think its db rating is there.

 

3hp. Not worth it, IMHO. Not without lots of other mods.

 

ok.. ill say it... i wasnt going to but i am... i saw an HPD for the first time on sunday at southwick... it looked CHEAP! bottom line.. i didnt like it.
ive heard the trinity pipe was quite nice... tina has one and loves it...
i really like my biggun, and i havent heard much about yoshi...
the biggun does have a nice spark arrestor.. removable... and vey quickly too... and doesnt block much flow at all.

 

I don't see any numbers on HPDs web site,and i don't see any good photos of it and i don't know anyone that has it,i really like HPD but they don't have any proof of how good it is.....

well doug nicholas is running it on the fastest pred.....so that is numbers enough for me. And he suggested it to me, but i didn't have the money.

 

I have no first hand knowledge of this pipe other than Aaen makes it, but it is another option. They claim 5hp on top, quiet core, and spark arrestor is availible. Aaens quet core pipe.

 

I watched a frustrated racer trying Aaens pipe last fall, it was sent back. If people are looking for appearance, instead of performance.....sigh, I can't help. If you don't want the W/B Pure Polaris, or the HPD, then at least go with the HMF. HPD has always been about no-nonsense HP, if people are looking for the bling factor instead of power, you'll be on the trailer.
